It is with great fanfare that we announce our acquisition by Expesite – an online project management provider that has some of the world’s most brand-recognized retail & retail banks as clients. Over the past six months we have had the pleasure of working with Jeff Sopp, CEO of Expesite, and his leadership team on getting to this important milestone.
We will operate as our own subsidiary, but plan to relocate to Expesite’s headquarters in downtown Columbus to foster collaboration and create efficiencies across the two companies by using a shared services model for ongoing sales, operational and development support.
Here’s a “sneak peek” of the draft press release that will be launched later today to multiple media outlets, including local & national news services as well as leading industry trade publications.
The best news is that we will continue to provide “pure awesomeness” to you and your teams!!!

You may have noticed a new look to our Home Page this week. We have added a “Connect with Us” feature that allows people to network with us on Facebook and LinkedIn. A lot of people have asked us, “Why did we add these features and what are the benefits we hope to see in these additions?” Below are the three main goals we considered when adding these features.
Pages are Public: Most of Facebook and LinkedIn are behind a login, preventing search engines from indexing. However, our pages are not behind a login making it available for search engines to index our Facebook and LinkedIn pages. We purposefully did this hoping people will stumble across our page as a result of their search, and visit our Facebook or LinkedIn page, and then navigate to www.reporthawk.com via the links in these pages to learn more about our company.
Stay Connected: In these economic times staying connected with our users is very important to us. As companies continue to downsize, we believe staying in touch with our users as they find new employment is a strategic growth opportunity for us.
B-Side Communication: Our Facebook Page also gives us another way to communicate with our users. Some of the information we share on these pages are what we call B-Side information. If you a familiar with music albums, the B-side tended to be the material that didn’t make the cut for the album. Therefore, this is where we are free to show the goofy and fun side of our company while delivering useful information and tips to our users.
We invite you to take a look at our LinkedIn and Facebook pages and get connected with us!

Our newest release is the completion of our Warranty stage and Warranty feature for Owners. In the past, we have broken down a project’s lifecycle into three stages: Preconstruction, Bidding and Construction. With the release of our newest feature we have added Warranty as our fourth stage.
“The new Warranty stage and feature is truly a value-added service that we are happy to offer to our owners”, said Brian Gunnoe, Report Hawk President. “The ability to track a project’s warranty expiration date and ensure warranty items are corrected by the Contractor or Owner-supplied vendors is a simple method for reducing maintenance costs.”
Upon the passing of a project’s turnover date or the setting of a project’s Certificate of Occupancy date via the last weekly report, your project will now transfer into the Warranty stage. Your project will be located in the Warranty stage for 365 days. During this time the project can be accessed through the use of our Warranty feature.
The Warranty feature allows an Owner to submit warranty items to the project’s General Contractor and if applicable, the Owner vendors.
When a warranty item is created, the warranty item and its related issue are e-mailed to the responsible party notifying them of the warranty issue and recording the it in our warranty history table.

The responsible party can then take action on the warranty issue and once corrected, can send updates back to the Owner, detailing the corrective actions taken to resolve the issue. In addition, photos of the corrective measures taken can be uploaded with the response to better clarify the work completed.
The owner, when satisfied with the corrective measures can close the Warranty Item.
